Program Description - This program will prepare an experienced LPN (who has a minimum of 2080 work hours as an LPN providing direct patient care in acute or long term care) for RN licensure. Following successful completion of the program, graduates will be awarded an Associate in Applied Science degree from their degree granting college.

Applications for the 2009-2010 Academic Year will only be accepted
from January 2, 2009 – April 30, 2009*

*Please note - you must submit an application for each year in which you wish to be considered for admission. Only students who have graduated from a State Board approved programs will be eligibile.

To get admitted to this program:
  • You must be a Michigan resident or a resident of northwestern Ohio.
  • Please download the Application for Admission to this program, fill it out, save it as a Word document, attach it to an email and return to the college with a resume documenting work history including specific dates of employment, hours per week, supervisor's name, and phone number. References are not needed. Review the Application Checklist to make sure you have completed all requirements.

  • PLEASE NOTE: When budgeting for this program - you will be registering for all courses through the MCCVLC using the MCCVLC tuition rates, regardless if one of the offering colleges is your 'home' college.
