The Instructional Technology Council (ITC), an affiliated council of the American Association of Community Colleges, released its annual report on online education - which shows that online enrollment continues to grow at community colleges even as many two-year institutions saw overall enrollment stagnate or drop. The MOOC (massive open online courses) do not seem to have garnered a lot of support at community colleges. Last year, 42 percent of survey respondents said that they had no plans for adding MOOC content to their courses. This year, that total increased to 73 percent. Only 3 percent reported that they are using MOOCs in courses.
